Depart the USA for Bilbao´s Loiu Airport where you´re greeted by your ESS guide and take a short 20 minute bus ride to check into your hotel. Enjoy your first European night in this incredible Basque city.
Morning training for the team and take the day to get your jetlag out exploring the streets of Bilbao, with ancient buildings, churches, shopping, the Guggenheim Museum, and great restaurants.
Play a minimum of four games in the Donosti Cup against international opponents. Experience the tournament opening ceremonies in Real Sociedad´s Anoeta Stadium, travel to the French coastal village of Biarritz, and visit the Old Town and Monte Igueldo in San Sebastian. Don´t miss out on a day at Playa La Concha, rated the #1 beach in all of Europe.
Travel by bus to the Pyrenees Mountains, where you’ll settle in for the night with a group dinner and enjoy the peaceful scenery.
Spend the day enjoying the breathtaking views and scenery of the Pyrenees Mountains, enjoy a Somantano wine tasting, and for the more adventerous travelers take a canyoning expedition.
Take a morning bus ride to Barcelona where you’ll tour FC Barcelona’s Camp Nou stadium and take the rest of the day to explore the city. Afterwards take the short drive to the Costa Brava where you’ll spend your first night on the Mediterranean Sea.
