Depart the USA for Madrid’s Adolfo Barajas Airport where you’ll be greeted by your ESS guide. Travel 45 minutes by bus to the magical city of Toledo where you’ll check into your hotel and get your first taste of the beauty of Spain.
Spend the day touring Toledo, or take an optional trip to Madrid to see this wonderful Spanish capital city and tour Real Madrid’s Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.
Depart Toledo by bus and head for Burgos, where you’ll stop for lunch and see the Cathedral of Saint Mary of Burgos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue from Burgos to San Sebastian where upon arrival you’ll check into the Donosti Cup tournament and settle into one of the best cities in Europe.
Play in the famous Donosti Cup, where your team plays a minimum of four games against international opponents. Throughout the week experience the tournament opening ceremonies in the Anoeta Stadium, travel to the French coastal villages of Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Biarritz, and visit the Old Town and Monte Igueldo in San Sebastian. Of course you won’t want to miss a day at Playa La Concha, rated the #1 beach in all of Europe.
Travel by bus to this historical medieval village in the Pyrenees Mountains. Along with enjoying the breathtaking views and scenery, take our optional canyoning expedition with Avalancha, and have dinner at the famed Meson del Vero restaurant. Spend two nights in the surreal Costa Brava on the Mediterranean Sea just north of Barcelona. From the small, quaint towns of Calella de Palafrugell and Llafranc, to the historical castled village of Peratallada, prepare yourself for relaxation, great food, and – even better – amazing beaches.
Bus to Barcelona where you’ll have the option to tour FC Barcelona’s famous Camp Nou stadium and see the likes of the Basílica de la Sagrada Família, Plaza Catalunya, and Las Ramblas. Spend your final night in Barcelona and prepare for your departure the next day.
