With the San Marino Cup Tour, teams not only play in one of the top tournaments in Italy, but they visit the great Tuscany cities of Florence, Bologna, and Siena. After the tournament bask on the beaches of the Adriatic Coast in Rimini, Monopoli, and Polignano a Mare.
Arrive in Florence, Italy where you’ll be met by your full-time ESS guide and charter bus. Spend the day sightseeing in this historical, wonderful city before checking into your hotel and experiencing your first taste of Italian cuisine.
Board the bus for the short 1-hour ride to Siena where you will spend your next two nights. Upon arrival, the team has their first training session. After checking into your hotel, spend the rest of the day touring Siena and experiencing the history and beauty of this amazing city.
Spend the morning enjoying the Tuscan coffee and Siena and in the afternoon the team plays a pre-tournament friendly match. That evening relax in Siena and enjoy your last night in Tuscany.
Board the bus in the morning and head for the Republic of San Marino, home to the San Marino Cup. Along the way stop for lunch and sightseeing in Bologna. Upon arrival to San Marino, check into your hotel and the tournament and spend the evening exploring one of the world’s oldest known republics.
Tournament play in the San Marino Cup, where your team is guaranteed four matches in this premier international tournament. In between games visit the beach city of Rimini, sightsee and visit the castle in the old town of San Marino, and experience Italian culture.
Head down the Adriatic coast by train, where your chartered bus will meet you in Bari for a short drive to the picturesque Adriatic beach village of Monopoli where you will spend your next three nights. Enjoy dinner that night in the main town square, while getting the chance to explore the small, winding streets of the old town.
Spend the morning on the beach soaking in the Italian sun. That afternoon take a short bus ride to Polignano a Mare, where you will spend the evening enjoying the breathtaking views and having dinner.
Board the bus for a day trip to the countryside Italian villages of Alberobello, and Ostuni before heading back to Monopoli for afternoon beach time and relaxation on your last day in Italy. A farewell meal in the town square of Monopoli will have you to bed early to prepare for your departure the following day.
Bus to Bari for departure back to North America.
