The ESS Friendly Match Tour puts you in Spain during the heart of the Spanish La Liga season, splitting your time between Barcelona and beautiful San Sebastián while immersing your team in the culture of Spanish football. With friendly matches against La Liga academy teams, tickets to La Liga matches, La Liga stadium tours, and watching a La Liga team train, this tour is a perfect fit for a team looking to experience fútbol in Spain.
On the field this tour features three matches against La Liga academy teams and two training sessions. Off the field you’ll see two La Liga matches, tour two La Liga training facilities, watch the first team of Real Sociedad train live, and tour two La Liga stadiums.
Depart from your airport of choice to Barcelona where you’ll be greeted by your ESS guide at the airport and your bus is waiting to take you directly to FC Barcelona’s Joan Gamper Training Facility. From there check into your hotel and head straight to a La Liga match of either FC Barcelona or RCD Espanyol.
Get your team’s feet on the ground training with the renown B1 Soccer Academy and take the rest of the day to tour the beautiful city of Barcelona, including stops to the famous Sagrada Familia church, Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas, and Port Olimpico.
Train again in the morning with B1 Soccer Academy before heading to tour FC Barcelona’s famous Camp Nou stadium. After the tour board the bus and head to San Sebastián in the Basque Country.
In the morning you’ll watch La Liga giants Real Sociedad train at their Zubieta Training Facility. Take your afternoon to relax and prepare for your first match in Spain against the famous club Antiguoko KE.
Head to Bilbao where you’ll tour the majestic San Mames stadium of Athletic Bilbao. After lunch in Bilbao head to the Lazama Training Facility of this great club before heading to your second match against the academy team of La Liga club SD Eibar.
Spend the morning enjoying the world famous Old Town of San Sebastian, where you’ll find some of the best food in all of Europe. In the evening play your third and final match against an academy team of Real Sociedad.
Take the short 40 minute bus ride across the French border to the quaint seaside villages of Saint Jean de Luz and Biarritz, France where you’ll spend multiple hours in each location. That night return to San Sebastian where you’ll have dinner at the clubhouse of Antiguoko KE.
Spend the morning training on Ondarreta Beach in San Sebastian. That afternoon you’ll see your second La Liga match of either Real Sociedad, Athletic Bilbao, SD Eibar, Osasuna, or Alaves. That night transfer to Bilbao by bus to prepare for your flight home the next morning.
